7. How does a better understanding of the ritual system of the old covenant heighten our
gratitude for the work of Christ in establishing the new covenant? Knowing what went on in the tabernacle, all the blood sacrifices, the fact that only one could enter the presence of God.. But now we have full access to Him (Jeremiah 31:31-34 was the prophecy of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the people of God.) We have His Spirit now that dwells inside of us , not in a box behind a veil.
